Our services

  • Wellness care, for all stages of life, helps us to keep a close eye on your companion’s health, year after year, preventing illness and catching it in its earliest stages, perhaps even before a condition is visible to you. This is the best way to keep your loved one in good health and improve the chances of a long, happy life.

Your pet will receive a thorough examination from nose to tail, including temperature, skin and coat health, ear health, heart and lung health, oral hygiene, and eye health. Depending on the age of your pet and their physical exam, lab work may be recommended to determine your pet's internal health as well, ruling out possible parasites or ongoing disease.

  • Dr. Summar has over three decades of experience in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Our in-house surgical facility allows us to keep your costs down, when faced with an unexpected procedure due to illness or injury, or a more routine spay or neuter. When surgery is necessary, your pet will be monitored by our certified technician before, during and after the procedure, ensuring your pet’s vital signs and comfort are closely observed.

  • Regular professional dental cleaning is important to maintain your pet’s teeth and overall health. Routine pet dental check-ups can prevent problems ranging from plaque build-up to periodontal disease, an often overlooked serious cause of major systemic disease in our companion animals. Dental care is performed under carefully monitored anesthesia, allowing a thorough examination and cleaning. Our skilled technician cleans each tooth thoroughly above and below the gum line. Teeth are polished to create a smooth tooth surface more resistant to plaque build-up. Fluoride treatment helps strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

  • Up-to-date vaccinations are an incredibly effective way to prevent many common diseases like rabies, distemper, parainfluenza and leptospirosis. It is one of the most important steps to a healthy lifespan.

  • A microchip is your pet's permanent ID. A pet microchip is a simple injection—the size of a grain of rice—and goes beneath your pet's skin. This permanent ID can never be removed or become impossible to read. By registering this I.D. with your contact information, you greatly increase the success of being reunited with your pet should they ever become separated from you.

  • We are equipped with a digital radiographic machine, that allows immediate radiographs to be taken, enabling in-house diagnosis.
